View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that a formal application for transfer and supporting documentation, as required under the Council of Europe Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons, has not yet been received from the sentencing state authorities in this case. However, following recent correspondence from the person concerned, my Department has now written to the sentencing state authorities to request that they process his application for transfer.
