1149 Mr. Costello asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the large number of buildings, including many buildings of historical and heritage importance, in Dublin city that have been damaged or demolished in suspicious circumstances; if he will request a Garda investigation into the circumstances; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that, in the area in question, no complaints have been received from any source indicating that buildings of historical and heritage importance were damaged or demolished in suspicious circumstances.
