View answerResponsibility for the provision of services, including support services for persons suffering from Asperger's syndrome nationwide, is a matter, in the first instance, for either the Eastern Regional Health Authority or one of the seven health boards depending on the individual's address. The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department, the regional chief executive of the authority and the chief executive officers of the health board have therefore been requested to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
