145 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the status of an application under the national reserve by a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6444/05]
View answerI confirm that a national reserve application form was received from the person in question before the closing date for the receipt of applications. All applications under the 2005 single payment national reserve are being processed at present. Given the number of applications received and the level of accompanying documentation submitted, it will be some time before processing is completed. The Deputy will appreciate that it is not possible to indicate at this stage whether the person will qualify for an allocation of entitlements from the reserve on foot of the application. Applicants will be notified of their eligibility or otherwise as soon as all applications are processed.
