View answerAs the Deputy may be aware, I appointed the expert group on mental health policy in 2003 with the specific task of preparing a new policy framework for the mental health services updating the present policy document Planning for the Future which was published in 1984. The group, which is currently examining the future direction and delivery of all aspects of our mental health services is expected to complete its work and publish its report later this year.
