241 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the Garda personnel numbers in each Garda district in the Roscommon-east Galway and Sligo-Leitrim Garda divisions; the corresponding figure for the years 2002 and 1997; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21360/05]
View answerI am informed by the Garda authorities, who are responsible for the detailed allocation of Garda resources, including personnel, that the personnel strength of each Garda district in the Roscommon-Galway east and Sligo-Leitrim divisions, as at 31 December 1997, 31 December 2002 and 21 June 2005 was as set out below.
