166 Mr. O’Flynn asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if, in view of the increasing emphasis and recognition of the importance of community care services within the health services through such initiatives as home care packages, additional public health nurses have been employed to facilitate developments particularly in view of the key role of a public health nurse in the organisation and delivery of community care services. The Deputy's question relates to the management and delivery of health and personal social services, which are the responsibility of the Health Service Executive under the Health Act, 2004. Accordingly, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have the matter investigated and have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
