257 Mr. Penrose asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if, in relation to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who, in accordance with correspondence received from his Department on 22 February 2006, has taken up employment, will have confirmed that their permission to remain in the State remains granted on the basis that they have sufficient funds to maintain themselves and is not a burden on the State; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Immigration Division of my Department has received correspondence from the person concerned. They will be in touch with her in due course in relation to her immigration status.
