Ruairí Quinn
Question:339 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that there are approximately 900 to 1,000 children on the waiting list of a clinic (details supplied) in Dublin 6 and that at the rate of three to four being assessed on a monthly basis, as well as the arrival of additional children, it is virtually impossible to get a child fully assessed in order to establish the level of special needs educational assistance at primary school level; the steps she proposes to take to make the extra resources needed to the clinic to enable them to meet the requirements of many parents and children; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
