943 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 162 of 27 February 2007, if he will amend the regulation to state that an appeal must be submitted within three months of becoming aware of the designation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As indicated in reply to Question No. 162 of 27 February 2007, exceptions can no longer be made to the application of the statutory three-month limit for submitting objections to proposed SAC designations. Amendment of the regulations in this regard is not contemplated.
