143 Deputy David Stanton asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 989 of 20 March 2007, if he has given further consideration to a request to meet with a delegation from Midleton Town Council regarding the Midleton Town boundary alteration; if so, when such a meeting will take place; his views on such an alteration; the action he has taken or intends to take on the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that my predecessor was invited to meet with a delegation in early 2007. I have recently received an invitation to meet with a delegation of Midleton Town Council, to which I will reply shortly. I also intend to respond to Midleton Town Council's application for a boundary extension as soon as possible.
