123 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children her plans to provide additional funding for the intellectual disability services in the Ballinasloe area following the recent visit by her Minister for State; if she will furnish a report on his visit; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Under the Health Act, 2004, as the Deputy is aware the allocation of funding to an individual agency, for disability services, is the responsibility of the Health Service Executive. A note of the meeting referred to above will be forwarded to the Deputy in due course.
