92 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government his view on to the reports of the local electoral areas committees and on all the recommendations made; when these will be implemented; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27586/08]
View answerOn 16 June 2008, I received the reports of the two Boundary Committees I established last January to review local electoral areas. The reports were published on 17 June 2008. I am accepting the recommendations contained in both reports and will make the necessary orders to give effect to them in due course.
