I am informed by the Immigration Division of my Department that the person in question was granted refugee status on 17 November 2003. A Family Reunification application by the person in question was refused in July 2006 and a letter outlining the reasons for refusal issued on the same date.

At present there are no Family Reunification applications pending in respect of any family members of the person referred to by the Deputy.
