Coonan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the reason payment has not issued to a to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary who has made an application under the farm waste management scheme; the total amount to be paid to the applicant; when payment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The person concerned is an applicant for grant aid under the Farm Waste Management Scheme. A decision will be made in respect of the application as soon as possible.

Coonan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the reason for the delay in payments in respect of the rural environment protection scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; when payment will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. REPS 4 is a measure under the current Rural Development Programme 2007-13 and is subject to EU Regulations which require detailed administrative checks on all applications to be completed before the first payments issue. The first payments for 2008 REPS 4 applications issued in the last week of January to those whose applications required no correction following the administrative checks. Further payments continue to be made as applications are cleared.

Queries have arisen during the administrative checks on the plan of the person named and it is currently under further examination.

550 Deputy Paul Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when a REP scheme four payment will be awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4589/09]

The person concerned is an applicant under the Farm Waste Management Scheme. My Department is currently examining the application and a decision will be made as soon as possible.

552 Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when persons (details supplied) in County Cork, who is awaiting payment of grants under both the farm waste management scheme and the farm investment scheme, will receive payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The persons concerned are applicants under both the Farm Waste Management and Farm Improvement Schemes. Decisions will be made in respect of the applications for payment as soon as possible.
