374 Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the status of the review at EU level of the Nitrates Directive; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5556/09]
View answerI am not aware that the Nitrates Directive is currently subject to review by the European Commission. However, the Commission will present an implementation report for the period 2004-07 to the Council and the European Parliament during 2010.
