Under the terms of both the Installation Aid Scheme and Young Farmers' Installation Scheme, only eligible land can be taken into account by my Department in determining whether or not an applicant has been set-up in farming.

Where an applicant is dissatisfied with a decision in regard to the determination of set-up, he/she may request my Department to carry out a review of that decision. Where the applicant is not happy with the outcome of that review, an appeal may be taken to the Agriculture Appeals Office.
