View answerAccurately estimating the number of illegal migrants is immensely difficult in any jurisdiction, including Ireland. This is due to the clandestine and covert nature of the activity. I do not therefore propose to make what would be essentially a guess at the figure for Ireland or indeed to highlight particular nationalities.
