364 Deputy Jimmy Devins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his plans to provide alternative accommodation and-or upgrade the existing building in view of the inadequate facilities at Sligo Garda station. [6961/10]
View answerThe Garda accommodation programme is based on agreed priorities established by An Garda Síochána and it is brought forward in close cooperation with the Office of Public Works, which has responsibility for the provision and maintenance of Garda accommodation. Garda accommodation requirements are considered in the context of the Garda Síochána's identified accommodation priorities and in light of available resources. I regret that the information requested by the Deputy is not readily to hand. I will write to the Deputy as soon as it is available.
