365 Deputy Fergus O’Dowd asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of civil and public servants who have signed up for the cycle to work scheme; and the cost of the scheme to date in 2010. [7578/10]
View answerTo date a total of 90 staff in my Department have availed of the Cycle-to-Work Scheme. The operation of the Scheme does not incur a direct cost on the Department, as the cost of the bicycle and equipment purchased is recouped from the individual staff member's salary. The administration of the scheme has been carried out within existing resources and no additional costs have arisen in that respect.
