View answerI am advised that my Department has not received any application for funding from the organisation referred to by the Deputy. Foras na Gaeilge has a function of promoting the Irish language and, in that context, of undertaking supportive projects and grant-aiding bodies and groups as considered necessary. Information in this regard is available on its website at www.forasnagaeilge.ie
In a wider context, my Department also provides certain funding to community and voluntary organisations under a range of grant/support schemes, which may also be of interest to the organisation. Details of such schemes and of the ways to apply for funding are available on my Department's website at www.pobail.ie.
