Questions (55)

James Bannon

Question:

53 Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that the Health Service Executive is to be permitted to construct a primary care centre and HSE offices for Longford at Ballyminion, Farranyoogan, County Longford in the River Camlin flood plain area opposite Flancare industrial area, while there are many other locations in Longford town, such as the Axis centre, on an elevated site, which would be more suitable; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that due to industrial action affecting the Health Service Executive it is not possible for the Executive to supply the information requested. If this matter remains of continuing concern to you, however, I would invite you to raise it with me again in due course.
