The club in question was provisionally allocated €78,000, including a RAPID top up of €18,000, under the Sports Capital Programme 2008. The allocation was formally approved on 3 June 2010. Invoices and other documentation in respect of the allocation were received by the Department from the grantee on 12 August 2010. The Department wrote to the club on the same date seeking, inter alia, a breakdown of the specific work carried out relating to an invoice submitted. This was again sought from the club on 13 January 2011. Further documentation was received from the club on 21 January 2011 and this is currently being reviewed to ensure that it meets the requirements of the Sports Capital Programme. When the Department is satisfied that the grantee has complied in full with the terms and conditions of the Programme, the grant will be paid subject to the normal retention arrangements which apply under the Programme.
