390 Deputy Simon Coveney asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport if she will provide mileage payments made annually since 2007 to staff for travel purposes; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3954/11]

All expenses paid to staff of my Department are in accordance with the Department of Finance circulars governing travel and subsistence.

The total mileage payments made annually since 2007 for the purposes of official travel are tabulated.

391 Deputy Simon Coveney asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport if the Ministers of State in her Department have drivers; the salary provided to each driver annually since 2007; the expenses provided to the Ministers of State for use of their car or mileage annually since 2007; the familial relationship between the Minister and the driver, if any; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Minister Martin Mansergh is a Minister of State at my Department with special responsibility for the Arts and is also Minister of State at the Department of Finance with special responsibility for the office of Public Works. The salary and expenses for any drivers associated with the Minister of State are not paid by my Department.
