330 Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government his plans to enure the safety of residents of Priory Hall estate in Donaghmede, Dublin 13, in view of the fact that the management company has informed residents that it cannot get insurance for the complex and that a company (details supplied) has refused to provide cover; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Following an application by Dublin City Council, a High Court Order was granted on 14 October 2011 for the evacuation of the development at Priory Hall on the grounds that the development is unsafe. I understand that at a further hearing on 17 October 2011 the developer has committed to carrying out a schedule of necessary remedial works in the coming weeks Dublin City Council has also made arrangements for the temporary accommodation of the affected residents I am satisfied that Dublin City Council is dealing proactively with this matter in line with the standard arrangements in place for the discharge of its statutory functions.
