322 Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Justice and Equality his plans to develop a sub-Garda station at his Department’s justice buildings in Johnstown, Navan, County Meath. [31827/11]

The formulation of proposals in relation to the provision of services by An Garda Síochána at specific locations is a matter, in the first instance, for the Garda Commissioner.

The Garda authorities have advised me that a number of Garda public offices have been established within the Navan Garda District. These offices are open to the public for a number of hours each week and I understand that consideration is being given to establishing such a facility in the Johnstown area.
