View answerAn application under the Single Payment Scheme/Disadvantaged Areas Scheme was received from the person named on 12 May 2011. This application was selected for and was the subject of a Ground Eligibility Inspection.
This inspection was completed and the results are now being processed.
In the vast majority of inspected cases amendments have had to be made to the maps in order that the Land Parcel Identification System that is used for making payments to farmers is kept up-to-date. Processing of these changes is continuing and priority is given to applications who were the subject of a Ground Eligibility Inspection.

View answerThe application under the Agri-environment Options Scheme (AEOS) for the person named was randomly selected for inspection. After this inspection, the application was processed further following the receipt of the completed record sheets from the person named. When the file was subsequently processed for payment, including cross-check with the areas declared under the Single Payment Scheme, queries in relation to parcels on which AEOS actions were applied were identified. These discrepancies are currently being dealt with and once resolved, the application of the person named will be processed for payment without further delay.
