1025 Deputy Kevin Humphreys asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the total amount of money accounted for through the sale of seized and unclaimed property in the appropriations-in-aid part of An Garda Síochána's Estimates from 2009 to 2011; the final outturn figure from this for each of those years; the estimated amount expected to be raised in 2012 in the Revised Estimates; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Garda Commissioner is the Accounting Officer for the Garda Vote. In that context I have been informed by the Garda authorities that the amounts of money realised by An Garda Síochána through the sale of forfeited/unclaimed property by the public auction from 2009 to 4 April 2012 are detailed in the table below:
