View answerI presume that the Deputy is referring to the proposed personal insolvency Bill. The Deputy will appreciate the complexities involved in drafting a Bill of this nature and that it is important that the provisions of the Bill are legally robust. This requires careful drafting of the text and full consideration of issues which emerge during the drafting process. However, I do not envisage that it will be necessary to hold a referendum in relation to any of the provisions of the Bill.
