126 Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has not received any information or confirmation of an application despite the fact that the application was made on 24 October 2011; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The client was requested to provide further information on the 17th of October 2011 in relation to his rent supplement application. The Department only received the necessary information from the person concerned on the 30th of April 2012. The rent supplement claim has now been awarded in full.
