The following table sets out the number of staff members (six in total) in my Department who availed of the special civil service incentive career break scheme 2009 and the cost of the scheme since its introduction. 2 staff members became staff of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform when that department was set up in July 2011. Staff on the incentive career break scheme are not counted in the departments staff numbers.
