View answerThe operation, maintenance and management of public water services infrastructure is the responsibility of the relevant water services authority, in this case Fingal County Council, under the general supervision of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In addition, discharges from water service authority facilities are regulated under the Waste Water Discharge (Authorisation) Regulations, 2007, under which discharges are licensed/authorised by the EPA.
