546. Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a decision will issue on a disadvantaged areas scheme appeal in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; if he will expedite payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2788/13]
View answerThe person named is one of a number, their derogation application having been unsuccessful, who were offered the option to appeal to the independently chaired DAS Appeals Committee. To date, this option has not been availed of. Should the applicant choose to appeal, it will be referred to the Committee.
