View answerThe Report Stage debate regarding the National Lottery Bill 2012 took place in the Dáil on 17 April 2013. During the debate, section 41(1) of the Bill was amended in order to provide that the natural environment shall be one of the categories to which the proceeds of the National Lottery may be applied. The Bill is due to be debated in the Seanad shortly.
