305. Deputy Nicky McFadden asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if the natural environment will be added to the list of purposes to which National Lottery funds may apply; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18910/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Report Stage debate regarding the National Lottery Bill 2012 took place in the Dáil on 17 April 2013. During the debate, section 41(1) of the Bill was amended in order to provide that the natural environment shall be one of the categories to which the proceeds of the National Lottery may be applied. The Bill is due to be debated in the Seanad shortly.
