Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the cost of the provision of tour guides and the expenses incurred in providing this service at a location (details supplied) in County Kerry for the 2012 season; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The cost of mounting the Guide Service at Skellig Michael during the 2012 season was €129,793.47. This includes Guide pay, Travel and Subsistence, Personal Protective Equipment and specialist Safety Training.
