278. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Minister for Finance when the Revenue Commissioners regulations on the fuel rebate for bus and coach operators will be in place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24307/13]
View answerI am informed by the Revenue Commissioners, who have responsibility for the operation of the repayment scheme, that Regulations to provide for the administration of the scheme are being prepared and will be in place before it comes into operation on 1 July this year. Revenue is continuing to consult with road transport operators and other business interests about those administrative requirements and information on the scheme will be made available on the Revenue website.
