I can confirm that the Department received an application for disability allowance from the person in question on the 30 November 2012. A deciding officer, based upon the evidence submitted, refused the application on both medical and habitual residency grounds. The person concerned was notified in writing of this decision and the reasons for it on 12 June 2013.
