Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport will he intervene directly with the National Transport Authority in order for it to allocate funding to Bus Éireann for the provision of bus shelters in rural areas like Bansha, County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue of bus stop improvement is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with the relevant transport provider and I have referred the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
