374. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the number of people in Cork city and county who have availed of the services of the Money Advice and Budgeting Service in 2012, 2013, and to date in 2014. [32638/14]

The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS), under the aegis of the Citizens Information Board, provides a high quality personal service to assist people who are over indebted and need help and advice in coping with debt problems, in particular those on low incomes and people living on social welfare payments. The table provides details of the number of people in Cork City and County who have availed of the MABS services for each of the years 2012, 2013 and up to the end of June 2014.
