373. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the progress in respect of an appeal for correct level of jobseeker's allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [32637/14]

Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection

The client concerned was awarded a reduced rate jobseeker’s allowance payment in January 2014 due to means from self-employment. The case has subsequently been reviewed and the maximum rate has been applied from 7th May 2014. Arrears issued on 8th July 2014.
