601. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of applications received and approved to date under the immigrant investor programme and the start up entrepreneur scheme; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [32678/14]
View answerTo date, thirty applications for the Immigrant Investor Programme have been received by the Department of Justice and Equality. Twenty six of those applications have been approved and there are currently four applications under consideration. Forty four applications for the Start-up Entrepreneur Programme have been received by the Department of Justice and Equality. Twenty one of those applications have been successful and eleven applications are currently under consideration. Of the remaining applications, two applicants withdrew from the process while the remaining ten applications were not deemed to meet the criteria for acceptance on to the programme.
