174. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection further to Parliamentary Question No. 120 of 17 September 2014, if she will indicate the loss of income to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare: if she will indicate the way the person is expected to make up the loss of income; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection

As outlined to the Deputy in reply to Parliamentary Question No 120 of 17 September 2014 the client ceased to have an entitlement to one parent family payment in July 2014 and the reasons for this have been outlined. The client applied for and has been awarded a carers allowance at the maximum entitlement based on their personal circumstances and family composition.
