Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection further to Parliamentary Question No. 155 of 17 September 2014, her views on the impact of the reduction in rent payable to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare in the context of current market conditions; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection

As a result of new information received by the Department the rate of Rent Supplement has been increased to include arrears as an exceptional measure due to the fact this family have extenuating circumstances.
