Deputy Colm Keaveney asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection if she will provide a copy of the report issued as a result of a scooping exercise carried out in 2009 to assess the nature of employment relating to 14 ESB meter readers; and if she will make a statement on the matter. There is no report in relation to this issue. These cases are being dealt with on an individual basis and are the subject of ongoing investigation in my Department. It would not be appropriate for me to comment on the likely outcome of these investigations at this stage.
