Deputy Martin Heydon asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will ensure that the important work carried out by the Barrow Drainage Board in ensuring drainage for the River Barrow and surrounding areas will not be compromised in the absence of the Barrow Drainage Board, taking into account the important work this board and its staff have carried out for many years; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
