Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 551 of 3 January 2015, if she will confirm that her Department does not record the real time jobs, directly and indirectly created, arising from the Government's school building programme. View answerI recently provided to the Deputy the numbers of direct and indirect jobs supported by the school building programme for the years 2012 to 2015. These numbers are based on the Construction Industry Council norm which I also provided to the Deputy earlier this month. This is the methodology that the Department uses to calculate the numbers of direct and indirect jobs that are supported by the school building programme.
