View answerFollowing the resignation of the former Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Eamon Gilmore, TD, in July 2014, his personally appointed staff, including the Special Advisers mentioned, received redundancy and severance payments in accordance with the terms of their contracts of employment and instructions from the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
