Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of the long waiting times for an appointment with a consultant orthopaedic surgeon (details supplied) in County Cork; his views that patients are being told that they will have to wait for up to three years for an appointment; the actions he will take to address these waiting lists; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
