View answerSince 2006 the Teaching Council is the statutory regulator and standards body for the teaching profession. One of the functions of the Council is to register teachers in Ireland. Accordingly, this matter should be raised directly with the Council. School managerial authorities and Education and Training Boards employ registered teachers.
